Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of both the Fierce 5 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. In 2012, she was awarded gold medals in team competitions as well as the floor exercise. In the balance beam she earned a bronze. She became the first American to win many Olympic medals. She took gold in the team event at the 2016 Olympics, which was her as well as Gabby Douglas the first Americans to earn back-toback gold medals. Also, she took home silver medals in individual all-around and for floor exercises. The break was for three years between the two Olympics from competitive gymnastics. The gold medal she won for the American team also took part in two World Championships. When she was just 2 her first lesson was gymnastics. She is a fan of the floor exercise. Aly is an active member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in honour of her grandmother who died from cancer. She wants to have the opportunity to have a career that is successful in fashion. Leotards that she has designed or socks as well as other products will be expanded on in the near future. Fierce, a new book she is working on will come out later this year.
